At Forbesy Camps, we are about creating a world of natural play, boundless imagination, and genuine social connections, for kids and parents alike.
Scott Forbes, who has been running children’s activity camps for over 20 years, with Kellie Forbes, who previously led the success of YUUworld (a brand of children’s activity rucksacks as seen on Dragons’ Den), founded Forbesy Camps, which is a true family-driven mission to maintain the magic of childhood.
The idea to build Forbesy Camps from Scott Forbes Camps, came from a heartfelt realisation back in January 2021 that they had a combined experience and passion for helping children thrive. They decided to join forces to tackle a challenge so many parents face today, and that is achieving a better balance of time spent with technology, and social, natural and outdoors activity.
For the past four years, Scott and Kellie have been dedicated to creating a space where kids cannot wait to get to. Their camps are bursting with fun events, creative themes, and activities that inspire curiosity, laughter, and a love of adventure. Parents can rest easy knowing that Forbesy Camps provide affordable, ‘Best Day Ever’ childcare for working parents, PLUS affordable days for children, promoting natural play and social experiences, which is more than ever crucial to the development of children, whilst making memories to last a lifetime.
But it doesn’t stop there. Family has always been at the heart of Forbesy Camps.
Now, Scott and Kellie’s two daughters who have joined the business, bringing fresh energy and ideas into operations and marketing. Together, the Forbesy family is working hard to reach as many children and families as possible. At Forbesy Camps, we believe in giving kids the chance to simply be kids again – exploring, laughing, and growing in an environment that feels like a second home.
