Booking terms

Everything you need to know about booking and attending a Forbesy camp.

Last updated:

1. Bookings

All bookings for Forbesy Camps are made online through our booking system at https://forbesycamps.com/parent/book. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions in full.

A place at camp is confirmed only once full payment has been received. You will receive a booking confirmation by email; please check your junk folder if it does not arrive within 24 hours. Until you have received this confirmation, your child's place is not guaranteed.

Bookings are accepted for children aged 3–15. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that the child named on the booking is a suitable age and is able to participate in the activities offered.

2. Payment

Camp fees are charged per day of attendance. Current pricing starts from £39.50 per day (Summer 2026 — see our Parents Info page for up-to-date rates and any discounts in effect).

We accept payment by debit or credit card, and also welcome the following childcare payment methods:

  • Tax-Free Childcare
  • Childcare vouchers
  • Sodexo
  • Edenred
  • Computershare
  • Care-4
  • Fideliti

If you are paying via Tax-Free Childcare or a voucher scheme, please contact us at admin@forbesycamps.com before booking to confirm how to apply your credit. We will do our best to make it as straightforward as possible.

A sibling discount of up to 30% may apply where more than one child from the same family is booked. A discount of up to 15% may apply for full-week bookings. Discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

3. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing by emailing admin@forbesycamps.com. The date we receive your written cancellation is the date used to calculate any refund.

Our standard cancellation terms are:

  • More than 14 days before the camp date: a full refund, less any non-refundable booking or payment-processing fees.
  • 7–14 days before the camp date: a 50% refund, or a credit note for the full amount to use against a future booking.
  • Fewer than 7 days before the camp date: no refund is normally available, except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please let us know as soon as possible. We will consider requests for a credit or transfer to another date on a case-by-case basis, though we cannot guarantee a refund.

If Forbesy Camps cancels a session or an entire camp (for example, due to circumstances beyond our control), we will offer a full refund or a credit transfer to an alternative date.

4. Behaviour & wellbeing

We want every child to have the best possible time at Forbesy, and that means keeping camp safe, happy and welcoming for everyone. We ask all children and their families to treat fellow campers, staff and the venue with respect.

Forbesy Camps reserves the right to address any behaviour that puts the safety or wellbeing of other children, staff or the wider camp at risk. In serious cases, we may ask a parent or guardian to collect their child early. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

Our staff are trained to support children with a range of needs and will always try to resolve any issues in a caring and proportionate way before escalating. If you have any concerns about your child's experience at camp, please speak to a member of our team or contact us directly.

5. Medical information & allergies

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to disclose, at the time of booking, all relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements and any other needs that may affect your child's participation or safety at camp.

This information must be accurate and kept up to date. If your child's needs change after booking, please notify us immediately at admin@forbesycamps.com.

Medical and allergy information is held securely and shared only with the staff members who need it to keep your child safe. We process this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Where a child requires medication during the camp day, parents must provide written consent and supply any medication clearly labelled with the child's name and dosage instructions.

Forbesy Camps cannot accept responsibility for any allergic reaction or medical event arising from information that was not disclosed to us in advance.

6. Photography & filming

We love capturing the fun — but only with the right permissions in place. Photographs and video taken by Forbesy Camps staff are used solely for purposes such as our website, social media and promotional materials, and only where we have received a parent or guardian's explicit consent at the time of booking.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at admin@forbesycamps.com. Existing published images will be removed as soon as reasonably practicable.

We ask that parents, guardians and children do not photograph or film other children at camp without the knowledge and consent of their parent or guardian. For further detail on how we keep children safe, please read our Safeguarding Policy.

7. Liability

Forbesy Camps takes the safety of every child in our care seriously and we will always take reasonable care to ensure that activities are run safely by appropriately trained, DBS-checked staff.

However, to the extent permitted by law, Forbesy Camps will not be liable for:

  • Loss, damage or injury arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control;
  • Loss of or damage to a child's personal belongings brought to camp;
  • Any indirect or consequential loss;
  • Any event arising from a failure to disclose relevant medical or allergy information.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We strongly recommend that children do not bring valuable items (such as mobile phones, tablets or jewellery) to camp. Forbesy Camps cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.

8. Changes to camps & these terms

We occasionally need to make changes to the programme, activities, dates or venues — for example, due to school-site availability or circumstances outside our control. Where a change is significant, we will notify affected families as soon as possible and offer either a transfer to an alternative date or a full refund.

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking. We will publish any updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
