What Makes Us Different from Other Camps?
Our camps are planned and created with not just childcare in mind, but fun days out.
Our passion is to encourage children to have a healthy balance of technology, and
social, natural and outdoors activity in their lives. Forbesy Camps is technology free,
and promotes active and creative fun, underpinned with the promotion of social
interaction, developing children’s confidence, health and life skills, in a loving and fun
space.

Affordable Top-Level Childcare
We are the only camp in the UK to offer a whopping 40% sibling discount to support
families and to promoting the days out market, encouraging social experience and
natural play. We also offer shorter days. Please see parents information tab for more

Themes Days
We have themes days from Zoo and Farm visits to Fun Fairs, to themed parties and

New Camp Care
New campers are given a special Forbesy Camp sticker, which means that they
automatically get an award at the end of the day and get to award somebody a
kindness award. We find that this brings old and new campers together, and
encourages new friendships, which is always one of our missions. We also send
you, the parents/carers, a reassurance photo so that you can relax and know that
they are having the Best Day Ever!

Early Years Program
We run an exception Early Years program, from age 3 – 5, where your children are
cared for by our level 3 plus staff who have extensive experience of working with this
age group at schools and/or nurseries.
Our staff are there to patiently and lovingly care for your children, with their mental
and physical development at the heart of the fun daily schedule. If they have an older
sibling at the school, then they are allowed to join the group.
We think that the development of our early years is sometimes about aspirations, so
at Forbesy Camps, under the watchful care of the early years team, we let the little
cubs interact with some of the older children, who love the little ones.

Courses For Campers Aged 9 – 15
At Forbesy Camps, we have spent a lot of time looking at how best we can serve our
older campers/teenagers who are seeking to develop leadership skills. We have
created a brilliant course for Campers aged 12-15 called Fox Leaders, plus roles of
responsibility for campers aged 9-11, on our Fox Tails initiative. We are confident
that these experiences compliment the culture of our camps within a fun and
confidence building environment.

information. Age 15 is a free attendance, age 12 – 14 is 50% off.
Our Fox Tail campers also have a “Youth Club” section during breaks, where they
can socialise, and the Fox Leaders are treated as part of the staff team.
We want to help develop our young people, arming them with life skills and a
growing confidence.
